The Disabled Photographers' Society
Society Licenciateship Distinction Award
The Licentiateship distinction requires you to enter a panel of 10 images to be considered for acceptance.
These images should show a good basic knowledge and technical skill as well as an ability to compose and focus an image in an acceptable manner. Your images should not have burnt out highlights or artefacts from over sharpening or image compression.
Applicants may wish to submit a blend of portraiture, landscape, natural history, architecture, record, abstract, etc.
Should the candidate wish to concentrate on a single theme, e.g. landscape or portraiture, a varied approach (particularly with respect to subject matter, lighting and viewpoint) should be evident.
A further good source of information and guidance is the Royal Photographic Society website
.
The RPS criteria for distinctions is virtually the same as the DPS.
