Fundraising

As a registered charity the DPS is entirely reliant upon the donations of equipment and funds that we receive from the public and of course our competitions sponsors Calumet.

Photographic equipment that is donated to the DPS is loaned to members who need it, with any adaptations, where required. If we can not use it then we may sell it, to fund our program of adaptations to equipment for our members. No matter what it is, normally we can use it somehow.

We do hold fund raising events, which are publicised in the society magazine, but If you would like to hold an event to raise funds for the DPS then please contact us and we will gladly help if needed.

The digital age and the internet has now given us new opportunities to fund raise for the society. One such method is the Google search engine here on the website. Every time you use it the DPS earns a few pence, and they all mount up over a period of time. So if you need to search the net then please do it from here and help us at the same time.

If you have any suggestions as to how we can raise funds then please don't be shy, share them with us.

Of course we also accept donations of money, Sterling, Euro's, Dollars and we would not object if you wish to leave us a legacy in your will. It all helps.
